Getting Empty Properties back on the market in Bath

Bath & North East Somerset county council are encouraging empty property owners to take the necessary steps to bringing their houses back onto the market.

As part of Empty Property Week, the Specialist Housing Team advisors will be on hand in Bath’s One Stop Shop on Manvers Street every day from Monday 25th through to Friday 29th November between 2 and 4pm.  They will be giving advice on what financial assistance is available, VAT relief on refurbishment, how to advertise properties for sale and private sector leasing schemes.

This meeting comes as part of a nationwide drive to address the problem that Empty Properties pose to communities and the country as a whole.

For further information on the event, head to the Bath and North East Somerset County Council Website.   For more information on the issues covered at the meetings help and contacts are available on this website under the Legal, Improving Empty Properties, Owning an Empty property, Buying & Selling and Useful Links sections.
