Success near the sands of Weston

A property in Weston-super-Mare was a two storey end of terrace dwelling.  There were complex probate issues associated with the property and it was left empty for some years.
  • There was extensive disrepair, potentially threatening neighbouring properties
  • This resulted in the council taking formal action to carry out major repairs and to clear the garden.
  • There was a major dry rot problem which required replacement of woodwork and plaster.

The work cost over 10,000. However, the property was subsequently sold at auction to a developer who extended and converted the house into 2 two bedroom houses. The Council recovered their cost.
